Katie Holmes has been hard at work on the set of "Mania Days," the upcoming film produced by Spike Lee and directed by Paul Dalio. But while she's concentrating on her performance, some of the film's crew members and extras have other priorities -- namely, getting a date with Tom Cruise's ex.
According to the NY Post, a source on the set of "Mania Days" revealed that Holmes has been asked out as many as seven times by extras and crew members working on the film, much to the director's annoyance.
“They were crew members and extras just chancing it. It really got on the nerves of director Paul Dalio. Needless to say, she said no to everyone," the source told Page Six.
Holmes, who divorced Tom Cruise last year, has kept quiet about dating as she's been taking care of the couple's young daughter, Suri.
"Mania Days," which is being filmed in New York City, tells the story of a romance between two manic depressives -- a rapper (Luke Kirby) and a poet (Holmes) -- who meet in a psychiatric ward. The film is due for release in 2014.
