The cast of "Star Trek Into Darkness" beamed into L.A. last night (May 14), and brought see-through dresses, screaming fans, and "Star Trek" legends with them.
Uhura, aka Zoe Saldana, walked the Dolby Theater red carpet in a sheer, tan-colored dress that would make even Spock crack a smile. And speaking of Spock, there were two at the premiere. Zachary Quinto and the Enterprise's original Vulcan, Leonard Nimoy, were both on hand, exciting every Trekkie within a 500 foot radius. Stars Chris Pine, Alice Eve, and director J.J. Abrams didn't disappoint either; each signed autographs and posed for pictures with the hoards of fans who showed up for the event.
"Star Trek Into Darkness" is the follow-up to J.J. Abrams's 2009 blockbuster reboot. The sequel follows the Enterprise crew as they engage in an epic battle after being summoned home only to discover Starfleet in ruins. They venture into a war zone to find the villainous John Harrison responsible for the devastation.
Check out the premiere photos below. "Star Trek Into Darkness" hits theaters Thursday, May 16.
