Amanda Seyfried and Josh Hutcherson go on a slug hunt in hopes of saving the forest in this exclusive clip from Blue Sky's upcoming animated movie, "Epic."
"Epic" follows teenager MK (Seyfried) and Leaf Man teenager Nod (Hutcherson) as they try to help a fearless group of bugs who were assigned to protect a mythical garden from the dreaded Spider Queen. When a precious flower bulb that is meant to save the forest is taken by evil forces (along with the two slugs guarding it), MK, Nod, and a Leaf Man Colin Farrell spring into action. The Leafmen characters featured in "Epic" are inspired by William Joyce's book "The Leaf Men and the Brave Good Bugs," which introduced the Samurai-like warriors. The acclaimed author also co-wrote Epic's story and screenplay and serves as an executive producer and production designer.
In the clip above, the team goes on a search for the missing insects and their priceless bulb. Along with Seyfried, Hutcherson, and Farrell, you'll hear the voices of Aziz Ansari and Oscar Winner Christoph Waltz as Mandrake, a villain looking to destroy the forest. Beyonce, Pitbull, Johnny Knoxville, and Jason Sudeikis also lend their voices to the film.
But wait, there's more!
