The reaping continues for Lionsgate!
The studio announced that actor Jeffrey Wright has been cast as Beetee in "The Hunger Games" sequel.
Beetee, an electronics expert from District 3, plays a pivotal role in Suzanne Collins' "Catching Fire." He is a once-Hunger Games champ and becomes allies with Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) during the the Quarter Quell -- the 75th Hunger Games, which unites former victors in a best-of-Hunger-Games extravaganza.
Directed by Francis Lawrence, Wright joins an already-dazzling cast of Philip Seymour Hoffman, Woody Harrelson, Donald Sutherland, Jena Malone, Liam Hemsworth, Elizabeth Banks, Josh Hutcherson and Sam Claflin.
With casting news like this, November 22, 2013 couldn't feel further away.
