Just when you thought it was safe to enjoy your home entertainment system, "Jaws" arrives on Blu-ray for the first time ever -- ready to chomp down on the rest of your movie collection. The classic nail-biter about a ridiculously-huge shark and the carnage it wreaks on Amity Island, is making its debut on the high-def format this week. In addition to an audio-visual upgrade, this new edition is packed to the gills with bonus DVD and digital versions, plus a boatload of special features, including deleted scenes, archives and rare behind-the-scenes footage.
And on top of all that, the movie comes complete with "The Shark is Still Working," a feature-length documentary celebrating the influence the film has had on fans since its 1975 release (you can get a sneak peek at that, by clicking on the video above, featuring Kevin Smith, Bryan Singer, Eli Roth and more).
There's no better way to celebrate the summer than with the very first summer blockbuster ever, and Moviefone is about to make it easier for three lucky commenters who will win their very own copy of "Jaws" on Blu-ray -- for free!
