Jennifer Lawrence: Mocking Jay, movie star, and now, real-life superhero.
While out for a walk with her pooch, the "Hunger Games" actress came to the aid of a teenage girl who had collapsed outside her Santa Monica, Calif., apartment.
Making Katniss Everdeen proud, Lawrence immediately alerted the authorities and remained close to the scene until the situation was under control.
"Jennifer ran outside her apartment when she heard a girl scream and immediately called 911," a photographer for X170 said. "When the EMT arrived, she stayed to make sure everything was okay. She was really scared for the girl."
Eventually, six police officers and a paramedic came to the scene to help the girl, who is expected to make a full recovery.
"It was a couple of juveniles involved in the incident. It could have been alcohol related," Santa Monica Police Sgt. Richard Lewis told the New York Daily News. "She's okay."
Looks like Dustin Hoffman, Kate Winslet and Ryan Gosling have some company.
