Not everyone is pleased with "Snow White and the Huntsman" winning the box office last weekend. According to TMZ, the Little People of America, "a national non-profit organization that provides support and information to people of short stature and their families," is unhappy with the casting choices of the film's dwarves. The movie, which re-imagines the famed fairy-tale characters as a gritty group of wanderers, featured big people as dwarves, thereby passing on actors of shorter stature. A representative from the organization told TMZ that Hollywood needs to start casting shorter people with more frequency: "This means both casting people with dwarfism as characters that were specifically written to be played by little people ... and other roles that would be open to people of short stature." In "Huntsman," the dwarves are portrayed by a group of respected actors, including Ian McShane, Bob Hoskins, Toby Jones, Eddie Marsan, Brian Gleeson, Ray Winstone, Nick Frost and Johnny Harris. For the film, director Rupert Sanders digitally inserted the actors' faces on to little people's bodies. "Snow White" also stars Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron and Chris Hemsworth.
