'Hulk' Makeup: Singer Stained Green After Painting Himself As The Marvel Superhero

HULK SING. HULK SMASH. HULK … TAKE BATH? Or at least, that's the case for Paulo Henrique dos Santos, a Rio de Janeiro man who, according to Brazilian news site Extra.globo.com, painted himself green and paraded around his neighborhood as the Marvel superhero to promote his singing career. Unfortunately, the industrial paint that he used -- which is normally reserved for ballistic missiles and nuclear submarines -- stained his skin green. Fans of the comic books know that the Hulk is resistant to most forms of injury or damage, including nuclear explosions, but it seems green paint might just be the Hulk's kryptonite. Dos Santos' plan was to see a doctor if, after 24 hours, the color hadn't faded. Luckily, after nearly two dozen baths, the green seems to have gone for good. Nevertheless, Dos Santos does plan to sue the store that sold him the green paint, alleging that a) the employees knew what it was being used for, b) they didn't inform him that the paint might not come off his skin, and c) ending the lawsuit with the warning "Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry." (We may have made that last one up.) This is, perhaps, the one instance the Hulk has seemed completely vulnerable, especially after a box-office smashing run in "Marvel's The Avengers," which is currently sitting at $1.3 billion in total receipts after only three weeks. In "The Avengers," Bruce Banner is played by Mark Ruffalo, replacing Edward Norton from 2008's "The Incredible Hulk," and Eric Bana's efforts in 2003's Ang Lee film.
