When it was announced that Tom Hooper, the famed "King's Speech" director, was doing a big-screen adaptation of "Les Miserables," you might have thought that you dreamed a dream. (Hey, a little theater humor!) However, now there's proof (and it's not in the form of a bootleg trailer, either): Universal has released the first stills from the anticipated flick.
The revamped classic boasts an all-star cast -- Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, Russell Crowe as Inspector Javert, Anne Hathaway as Fantine, Amanda Seyfried as Cosette, Helena Bonham Carter as Madame Thénardier, Sacha Baron Cohen as Monsieur Thénardier, Eddie Redmayne as Marius, and newbie Samantha Barks as Eponine.
The photos, which debuted in the USA Today, show the cast in all their Victor Hugo-glory. (Anne's hair is all gone!) You can take a look at a few of pictures below. For the entire collection, head here.
