While Jason Segel may be out of the picture, the Muppets must go on. According to Deadline.com, during the CinemaCon convention in Las Vegas, Walt Disney Studios announced three new animated flicks coming down the pike and (to the shock of no one) confirmed the Muppets sequel, which sees the return of director James Bobin and a script penned by Bobin and Nicholas Stoller. Pixar also sent around a press release, which outlines their upcoming features: "The Good Dinosaur" -- Bob Peterson ("Up") plays with the hypothetical in this animated comedy, as the film explores the biggest "what if" in the galaxy: "What if the cataclysmic asteroid that forever changed life on Earth actually missed the planet completely and giant dinosaurs never became extinct?” The film is set to hit theaters on May 30, 2014. "Untitled Pixar Movie That Takes You Inside The Mind" -- Here's hoping they don't change that title! This animated flick endeavors to be as close to an Epcot ride as possible, apparently: "From director Pete Docter (“Up,” “Monsters, Inc.”) and producer Jonas Rivera (“Up”), the inventive new film will take you to a place that everyone knows, but no one has ever seen: the world inside the human mind.” The film's release date is June 19, 2015. "Untitled Pixar Movie About Dia De Los Muertos" -- Pixar gets multicultural! From "Toy Story 3" director Lee Unkrich, this movie "delves into the vibrant holiday of Día de los Muertos." Release date to be announced. Pixar's next film, "Brave," is set to hit theaters on June 22. [via Deadline]
