At this year's SXSW -- amid all the buddy comedies -- an indie darling emerged: "Safety Not Guaranteed."
The film is based on a quirky ad-turned-Internet meme), which read: "Wanted: Someone to go back in time with me. This is not a joke. You'll get paid after we get back. Must bring your own weapons. Safety not guaranteed. I have only done this once before."
Directed by first-timer Colin Trevorrow, "Safety" stars your favorite deadpan beauty, Aubrey Plaza, as a down-on-her-luck intern at Seattle Magazine, who ends up on assignment -- along with two others, (Jake Johnson and Karan Soni) -- trying to get the story of the man who wrote the time-travel ad.
In the newest clip from the movie, which you can watch above, Plaza attempts to entice Kenneth (Mark Duplass) with her coyness. Spoiler alert: It works!
"Safety Not Guaranteed" hits theaters June 8.
