Two great tastes that taste great together? Um, sure! To celebrate Jennifer Lopez's new Kohls clothing line, "Classic: Remixed," McCann NY hired famed director Darren Aronofsky to film a new commercial featuring J.Lo, some pretty fancy editing-enhanced wardrobe changes, and a cover of the Kiki Dee Band's 1974 single, “I Got the Music in Me." The results are a bit of a fever dream, which makes sense considering Aronofsky directed one of the best fever dreams of the last five years, "Black Swan."
Fortunately, there is no toe-nail torture in the new Kohls ad -- just glitz and GLITZ. This isn't the first time Aronofsky waded into Madison Avenue territory; the Oscar-nominated director also filmed some pretty disturbing PSAs about meth use last year.
Lopez can be seen regularly on "American Idol" and stars in the upcoming ensemble comedy, "What To Expect When You're Expecting." Aronofsky's next film will be "Noah," about Noah's Ark. Russell Crowe is in talks to star.
