Listen up, nerds! Tina Fey may trade in her stained, off-brand Snuggie and Liz Lemon-glasses for a bit of serious drama.
Vulture reports that the actress is a "cat's breath" (whatever that means; also, ew) from joining Paul Weitz's ("About a Boy") "Admission," the big-screen adaptation of Jean Hanff Korelitz's novel. And! She might be joined by goofball-cum-relative straight man, Owen Wilson.
Written by drama vet Karen Croner ("One True Thing"), "Admission" sounds like a less-gritty "Notes on a Scandal." Fey would play an Ivy League admissions person whose interactions with a 17-year-old student begins to affect her personal and professional life. (Wait, wasn't there a "30 Rock" episode about that? He like, lived with his mom?) Wilson, apparently, would play an (age-appropriate!) neighboring teacher who falls for Fey.
Hopefully, Wilson's character is a more like Floyd (Floydster!) than Criss.
