"Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" haters, today is your unlucky day. The results are in for the annual America's Favorite Actor poll and topping the list for the second consecutive year is Johnny Depp (no word on how many of the voters saw "The Tourist"). In 2011, Depp starred in "Stranger Tides," the fourth film in the "Pirates" franchise, as well as "The Rum Diary" and the animated tale "Rango." After Depp, Denzel Washington and Clint Eastwood come in tied at number two, impressive for both actors: Denzel and Clint did not act in a movie in 2011 (although Eastwood did direct "J. Edgar"). Speaking of actors who weren't in a new movie in 2011, in at number five -- after Tom Hanks -- is All-American Hero John Wayne. Not sure what this says about the current crop of today's movie stars, but it can't be good. In terms of gender, men say Eastwood is their favorite actor, while women pick Depp. (Johnny is also a favorite of both liberals and conservatives; for moderates, its Denzel Washington.) The only female to make the list this year is Sandra Bullock; Angelina Jolie, who came in at No. 5 in 2011, dropped off completely. You can check out the full results of the poll below. America's Favorite Actors 1. Johnny Depp 2. Clint Eastwood (tie) 2. Denzel Washington (tie) 4. Tom Hanks 5. John Wayne 6. George Clooney 7. Sandra Bullock 8. Harrison Ford 9. Will Smith 10. Adam Sander [via Deadline]
