Now that the latest "Ender's Game" trailer is out and "City of Bones" is only three months away from release, it's time to get a head start on casting yet another promising young adult franchise.
"The Infernal Devices" is best-selling author Cassandra Clare's prequel trilogy to her "Mortal Instruments" series, the first of which hits screens on Aug. 23. While "The Mortal Instruments" books take place in the late '00s, "The Infernal Devices" trilogy is set in Victorian England –- but centers around the same fantasy universe of Shadowhunters (angel-blessed demon hunters) and the paranormal creatures they protect regular humans (mundanes) from.
The film is still in the early stages of development -- the screenplay is in the hands of writer Stephanie Sanditz -- and the producers at Constantin Films are looking for a director to attach, but it's never too early to dream about who should star in the cast.
