If you've ever longed to see Leonard Nimoy recite lines from his infamous song "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins," your day is about to reach new levels of awesome. In this new Audi commercial with Nimoy and Zachary Quinto, modern-day Spock goes toe-to-toe with old-school Spock as they race each other to the golf course.
Unfortunately for Nimoy, his car is as behind the times as the old Holodeck. Fortunately for fans, this commercial is jam-packed with nods and winks to the "Star Trek" universe, like "The Wrath of Khan" and that infamous Death Grip.
The commercial was directed by comedy team Paul W. Downs & Lucia Aniello, aka Paulilu and produced by PMK*BNC.
"Star Trek: Into Darkness" swoops into theaters in the United States on May 17. It's already opened abroad.
