'Nymphomaniac': First Poster for Shia LaBeouf's Sex-Filled Movie

Lars Von Trier is a director who has never shied away from controversy. The Danish auteur behind “Breaking the Waves,” “Dancer in the Dark,” and “Melancholia,” indulges in cinema that can charitably be described as extreme. The last time he was in Cannes he made some comments about Nazism and got kicked out of the festival, and his horror melodrama “Antichrist” features genital mutilation and a demonically talking fox (among other things). His next project is “Nymphomaniac” -- a two-part sex movie starring Shia LeBeouf -- and the first poster for it is very, er, suggestive. Featuring an elliptical pair of symbols that could be… brackets? Parenthesis? We'll let you decide. The tagline at the top of the poster says it all: “Forget about love.” Amazing. The official site for the movie promises more news to come on May 16th. The movie chronicles one woman's erotic journey from birth to the age of 50, in eight distinct chapters. It also stars Charlotte Gainsbourg, Stellan Skarsgard, Jamie Bell, Christian Slater, Uma Thurman, Willem Defoe, Udo Kier, and Connie Nielsen. It will be, in the words of Gwen Stefani, bananas (b-a-n-a-n-a-s). No release date has been set but we have a feeling something will be announced at Cannes. You can check out the poster below.
