He wasn't just any film critic, he was the film critic -- a man who influenced millions with his informative and witty movie reviews and trademark "thumbs up, thumbs down" system. Roger Ebert, who passed away today at the age of 70, was one of the most important critical voices of our generation. A Pulitzer prize-winner in 1975, Ebert would go on to host the enormously popular "At the Movies" TV program.
