It looks like all Jane has is a gun.
Jude Law has reportedly decided to drop out of the indie western film, "Jane Got a Gun." The news of the actor's exit comes just two days after the movie's director, Lynne Ramsay, skipped out on the first day of filming, and was quickly replaced by Gavin O'Connor ("Warrior").
Law left the production because Ramsay ("We Need to Talk About Kevin") was no longer on board, according to Yahoo News.
Law and Ramsay are not the first people to leave the project in the dust. Michael Fassbender was originally cast in Law's role opposite star and producer, Natalie Portman, but quit because of scheduling problems.
Those still attached to the film include Portman, Producer Scott Steindorff, and actor Joel Edgerton.
In "Jane," Portman plays a woman who partners with her ex (the role Fassbender then Law were supposed to play) to defend her farm against a group of outlaws.
Shooting for the film is set to begin today -- that is, if anyone shows up.
