All those tears were worth it, Daniel Craig: Adele is now an Oscar winner.
At the 85th Academy Awards, the British songstress won Best Original Song for her work on "Skyfall." The titular theme to the latest James Bond flick has been a hit since debuting last October. It's the second time the song has won an award in 2013, taking home the Best Original Song prize at this year's Golden Globes.
Adele stepped away from the microphone while accepting her Oscar because she was so choked up, and passed it on to producer Paul Epworth. She yelled to the audience "You're so amazing!" before walking offstage.
The Oscar win comes more than a year after Adele swept the 2012 Grammys, where she nabbed six awards, including Album and Record of the Year for "21."
