While Jean Dujardin followed Ludovic Bource's apologetic lead after winning the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy earlier this month ("I'm French, too"), he was singing a decidedly different tune following his SAG win on Sunday night. Literally.
Dujardin was introduced to a little Hollywood superstition -- that winning a SAG award is considered an Oscar oracle (adorably, the actor tried to deflect the question, putting his fingers in his ears).
But soon things took a nationalistic turn when he was met with the possibility of becoming the first Frenchie to win Best Actor: Dujardin broke into the Champs-Elysee strolling ditty, "Marseillaise."
The French George Clooney (or Robert De Niro) said it was too early to tell but -- in another shout out à Paris -- invited the reporter to join him for a drink backstage.
Vive la France, indeed!
