Moviefone's New Release Pick of the Week "To Rome With Love" What's It About? Woody Allen's latest European jaunt features Alec Baldwin, Penelope Cruz, Jesse Eisenberg and the bespectacled one himself in an anthology of stories dealing with love, art, class and infidelity. You know, typical Woody. See It Because: It's not nearly as good as "Midnight in Paris," but there's still great performances and great moments that make it an interesting chapter in this 17th(?) revival of Allen. Moviefone's Blu-ray Pick of the Week "The Man Who Knew Too Much" (Criterion Collection) What's It About? The Alfred Hitchcock suspense is so nice, he made it twice. Criterion archives the first version of the mystery thriller about a vacationing family caught up in an assassination conspiracy, and features the iconically creepy Peter Lorre in his first English-speaking role. See It Because: Like everything else Criterion does, it comes packed with special features, including archival interviews with Hitchcock himself. Not to mention that beautiful Hitchcock style in glorious HD. New on DVD & Blu-ray "Branded" What's It About? An interesting idea for a sci-fi film -- that corporate advertising is actually secretly harboring a monstrous plague designed to enslave the human race-- is ruined by a bad execution. Now let's all take comfort in the realization that that premise is nothing more than ludicrous science fiction (drinks Starbucks). See It or Skip It: Skip it. "The Possession" What's It About? A hokey horror movie that attempts to be "the Jewish 'Exorcist'" and winds up being your typical cheese. See It or Skip It: Skip it. "Taken 2" What's It About? Did you see the first "Taken"? Literally the same thing. See It or Skip It: Skip it, and rewatch "Taken." "Won't Back Down" What's It About? Maggie Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis -- two great actresses -- get wasted in an "inspirational teacher" movie that tackles the complex issues surrounding unionized public teachers and paints the whole thing with one big, preachy, black-and-white stroke. See It or Skip It: Skip it. New to Blu-ray "Experiment in Terror" (Limited Edition) "Hannah & Her Sisters" "How Green Was My Valley" "Our Man Flint" (Limited Edition) "Sleeper" "The Tin Drum" (Criterion Collection) "Wake in Fright"
