Get out your protein shakes, the muscle-tastic trailer for Michael Bay's "Pain & Gain" has arrived.
Based on Pete Collins's Miami New Times series, "Pain & Gain," Bay's professed "dark comedy," follows a pair of Floridian musclemen (Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson) who get mixed up in a doomed kidnapping.
The movie has been gestating for years. Bay told MTV in 2009 -- when "Pain & Gain" was just a twinkle in his eye -- that he had hopes of doing a smaller production, which he described as "a 'Pulp Fiction'-type of movie."
The film sees so many bulging biceps, sit ups, punches and muscle tees, it's more like "Pulp Fiction" on steroids.
Take a look at the trailer above. "Pain & Gain" starring Wahlberg, Johnson, Anthony Mackie, Ed Harris, Rob Corddry and Tony Shalhoub hits theaters April 26.
