The nominations for the 2013 Screen Actor's Guild Awards have been announced, and they're filled with plenty of surprises. For Best Ensemble in a Motion Picture were "Les Miserables," "Argo," "Lincoln," The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel" and "Silver Linings Playbook." That left out such Oscar favorites as the Osama bin Laden manhunt drama "Zero Dark Thirty" along with Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained." In the Best Actress category, Jessica Chastain ("Zero Dark Thirty"), Marion Cotillard ("Rust and Bone"), Jennifer Lawrence ("Silver Linings Playbook"), Helen Mirren ("Hitchcock") and Naomi Watts ("The Impossible") were all nominated. For Best Actor, the nominees include Bradley Cooper ("Silver Linings Playbook"), Daniel Day-Lewis ("Lincoln"), John Hawkes ("The Sessions"), Hugh Jackman ("Les Miserables") and Denzel Washington ("Flight"). For Supporting Actress, Sally Field ("Lincoln"), Anne Hathaway ("Les Miserables"), Helen Hunt ("The Sessions"), Nicole Kidman ("The Paperboy") and Maggie Smith ("The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel") were all nominees. Kidman's nod is a big surprise -- though reviews on her performance in the Lee Daniels film have been good, she hasn't been receiving much awards season attention as of late. In the Supporting Actor category, Alan Arkin ("Argo"), Robert De Niro ("Silver Linings Playbook"), Philip Seymour Hoffman ("The Master"), Tommy Lee Jones ("Lincoln"), and Javier Bardem ("Skyfall"), all got nods. Bardem is a pleasant surprise on this list. Bond films are a lot of things -- action-packed blockbusters, tightly-wound spy thrillers, audience favorites -- but awards material is normally not one of them. The 19th annual Screen Actors Guild awards air on Jan. 27, 2013 on TNT and TBS. You can see the full list of SAG TV nominations here.
